basically the wipers work and all the speeds work, but when you shut them off they keep going, until you shut the car off, wait a second, then turn the car back on, and they go back down. The switch is busted kinda so it keeps twistin sorta if you twist hard (cracked all the way around) but it still goes to the off position, and they don't stay on once you turn it back on, so it's possible, but I don't think it's the switch. oh yeah, it's an 85 iroc.
Just got it. heheh i love it

good ***, I had this HORRIBLE problem on my 1984 Buick Park Avenue... I could get them to shut off sometimes if I turned the wipers off at the EXACT right moment... and if I turned the car off, they would shut off just fine... weird huh?
I finally took it in to an electrical shop once they stopped turning on... but if you ask me its a relay... in fact I know its a relay, I just don't know where or which one...
either a relay or some sort of stop-switch, and maybe the car doesn't know when the wiper hits the end of its cycle?
Good luck

the park switch is inside the wiper motor housing, you have to take the black cover off the motor and its in there, just be careful because if you get the hear out of time your wipers wont work right and might try and park in the wrong place.
