oil pressure and water temp guages

MY oil and water guages arent reading correctly.
Went from 305 to 350 engine .

Do I need to get new water and oil senders for them
to work right?

Any one know what is normal oil pressure for a stock 350
250 HP ?

My new 350 runs 65+/- when cold, 50+/- when warm. GM standard pump.

So you hooked up a temperture guage from the thermostat.
I guess its the same kind of setup for a mechanical oil pres guage.

You have to run a hose from your guage to the thermostat?
Into the dash hmmm what if it breaks you could get burned
and crash.

My whole cluster doesnt work the fuse keeps blowin.
Looks like im gonna have to gut the wiring and go aftermarket.
Im a beginner so I might have to go mechanical with the gauges.

I see you also put a bowtie overdrive .
I am interested in this also because my tranny
isnt hooked up to the cpu anymore
and I need an aftermarket kit was it hard to put on?

My temp gauge has the wire type lead, not fluids in my car.

You could get an electtric sender version, this would just require routing the wire through a grommet.

The electronic units are rather simple to setup. Autometer has decent instructions in all the gauges.

I live about 5 miles from BowTie so it was a pretty easy choice. So far the tranny is working good, pressure are near perfect, no slipping and a really nice crisp shift. Withouth the ECU you can use the Brake Relay system, which would cause the TC to unlock when the brakes are on. Their site gives it in good detail.

I guess you have to remove your
existing sensors.

The sensors they provide will fit where
the originals where?
