just wondering if there is any way to install the sens. with out having to weld it into the pan????

Axle/Gears: 31 spline Moser/full spool/4.11Rich
easiest way is to get a cast aluminum pan, drill/tap hole and thread in the adapter then thread the sensor into that.
There's another post around here if you do a search where somebody ran a T on a tranny line and installed sensor into that.
