I need a wire diagram of behind the dash i need to know were a orange and pink wire hook into i dont know were the other end of the connector is it is located behind the cig lighter. Also if you have a diagram of the grounds starting from were the radio gound connects to the frame by your right knee.

Anyone. Im gonna brake down and take my car to the mechanic tommorw. My shifter and hvac control lights dont work hald my guage lights dont work. I get a loud BUZZZZZZ from my rear defoger and when i turn my lights on my turn signal lights stay on on the dash along with it sayin my high beams are on when they are off. I also dont know what the 2 wire connector goes to oh well at least it willg et fixed and ill have my window motor fixed while it is in the shop

 

Sorry Fastrs, here is that schematic of the ground sires under the dash. I have not been able to locate that orange/pink wire that you have mentioned as of yet.

 

I was just feeling around and pulled that wire up. never even seen it before.

 

I wonder what the poblem becasue in sence by looking at that if it was the ground non of my lights woould work in the car correct?

 

Not neccessarily, if you will notice that there are several round dots there with wires branching off from them. Those are splices so one wire feeds many. If one of those wires in the splice breaks it won't affect all the other systems. BTW, there is a wire in my Iroc in the same location only the wires are orange and brown. They are not connected to anything and I don't have a wiring problem.

 

At least this problem will finaly be addressed ive been messing with it when it acted up before but now it has finaly acted up to the point it needs to be addressed

It had nothing to do with my problem i jsut had a bad ground but i have no clue what those wires or connector go to i just was feeling back there and pulled it out.

 

Yeah, same here. I know it must not be important, but I'm so curious as to what it was meant for.
