Which wires for aftmkt fuel gauge?
Does anyone have the wiring diagram of the connector behind the gauge cluster on an 87 IROC.
Im needing to trace back the wires that lead to the fuel gauge as I am going to be installing an aftermarket fuel gauge.
( I don't have my gauge in front of me or available right now otherwise I would just do a comparision.. thats why I am asking)

from what i know all you need from the gauge sending unit is a pink wire. i have been looking for where it comes into the instrument panel myself and havent really gotten too far but i do know its pink

yeah i needa know this one to. all i need is the fuel sending wire. is it a pink wire all the way up to the harness?

i just did mine today, 91 RS...don't know if its different or not.
pink was positive,
made my own ground from the new guage,
and purple was the fule level.
that worked for me and I am happy with it. hope it works for you guys.
