cluster lighting problems

the other day driving down the road i hit a bump and i blew my dash light fuse. i replaced it and it did it again. Once again I replace4d the fuse and it hasnt blown but the lights still dont work. the light switch has power but the fuse and the plugs on the cluster dont. Can anyone explain that to me please. its a 88 trans am 350 T.P.I

Try checking the "TAIL" fuse on the fuse panel, have you noticed any other lights out besides the instrument lights when you turn the light switch on? Say, the tail lights, shifter lights, A/C control lights maybe.

tail lights still work and no fuses blown anywhere including fusible links just really wanting to know where to get a wiring diagram or the shcematics for the the entire car
