Need wiring diagram for 1988 firebird power windows
I'm swapping a full dash assembly from an 88 firebird into my 84 T/A and apparently, they changed the wiring setup on the power windows in that time. I have a service manual for the 84, so i have that diagram, can anyone (maybe Trickster?) provide me with the 88 wiring diagram?
Basically, the harness from the 84 T/A has a connector with 4 wires ( i think they are white, black, brown, and ?) and they would join up with the taillight wires, then plug into a connector coming off the dash wiring harness. The 88 dash harness has a different taillight connector that extends further back and plugs in near the rear seats. There is no connector coming off for the 4-wire power window connector. Does anyone know where these wires connect to the 88 dash harness?

you rock! Going by memory, it looks a lot like the diagram in my 84 service manual. I'll have to do some more studying

any chance you could post those diagrams here? I am installing an automated window up/down system, with "one-touch" window operation... the alarm can control them as well.
I could probably find out by just applying power to certain wires at the window switch, and see when the windows move... but what it comes down to is I need to cut the wire going to the motor and from the switch, so the module can control the window by itself, or via command by the switch. I'd bet the wiring is the same as a '90 model.
thanks.
