Help! Unknown Headlight Control Module Component!

Can anyone tell me the cross-reference number for the power transistors on the Headlight Control Module shown below. The components in question are circled in the picture. They appear to be marked with GM in-house numbers. "GI PA75N85s"

Thanks,

Matt

Okay, to make it small enough i just showed a picture of the component.

Thanks,

Matt

Try looking up the lower four digit number... ONLY the lower four digit number...

You also may have other problems that cause that transistor to go bad.

Re: Help! Unknown Headlight Control Module Component!

I'm a little late to the party, but I found a what I believe is an identical part number for the transistor like component. It is a field effect transistor for switching applications and motor drivers, and it can be controlled by logic circuitry, which is why there's the 16 pin DIP IC chip in the module doing the switching. here is the mouser link! hope this helps somebody like me that's been researching forever!

Welcome to the site. That's a neat find. Have you used it yet and did it work with your repair?

I can not believe how many people have never seen a M.O.S.F.E.T...
Or any type of Transistor for that matter.

Transistors Revolutionized the Modern World.
(Could you live without all of your day to day Electronics???)

M.O.S.F.E.T.s actually re-Revolutionized the Modern World!

Re: Help! Unknown Headlight Control Module Component!

Yes, the MOSFET worked, but the relay is clicking but not driving the motors, i tested the entire circuit and the headlights come up when i put power to the wires themselves and power is coming from my switch so it has to be the module. I have a lot of electronic parts lying around so I tried making my own version to avoid paying for a new one and the IC i chose wasn't correct. I think i will just use an Arduino type device to control the relay and remove the IC in general.

Sorry for the super late reply, i haven't been active on here in a long time, i didn't think i would get any reply's.
