Ignition Spark Control Module with MSD 6AL-2
This is going to be a dumb question, brace yourselves: 1989 Firebird Formula 350 (TPI), but I engine swapped over to carbed 383 stroker - I was cleaning up the wiring in my engine bay and came across a box that Google says is my Electronic Spark Control Module (ESC Module). I currently am using a MSD 6AL-2 box for my ignition, an MSD HEI distributor, and an aftermarket spark coil, and my OEM ECU is still powering some things such as the fuel pump. Would deleting this ESC Module cause any trouble, or is the MSD completely taking over the responsibility of the ESC Module at this point?
EDIT: I don't see this component in any of the wiring diagrams for the 1989 Formula 350 TPI.

Solution found: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/elec...9-350-tpi.html
Basically, it is used to adjust timing in the stock TPI engine, but since I' have carb swapped the engine and the OEM ECU isn't controlling anything in the engine, it can be ripped out.
