a Sticky for switch/circuit install?
Could anyone take the time to make a sticky with pictures for installing a switch/circuit from the battery to some area in the car, using the proper electical equipment so people (amatures) can get a grasp on how to do it? It would be nice to see the proper way to run and connect wires...

Do you mean like this:

First and foremost suggestion I would make is to only tie in to the battery directly if it is actually necessary. Really, unless you have a high load accessory, like a big stereo amp, or a power inverter, it's not necessary. It's better to tie in to your electrical system away from the battery. Most of our cars have a positive junction block only a foot away from the battery. That junction block, the post on the back of the alternator, and the starter solenoid are all places you can tap iinto power with less likelyhood of corrosion affecting your electrical junction.
Connections made on the battery will be prone to the corrosion shown in the above photo (unless you have an optima).
