tridon el12 doesnt work with leds... help!

I bought LED replacement bulbs for all the turn and tail lights on my car (6 in back 2 in front and 4 on sides). I read here somewhere that the tridon el12 flasher would flash no matter what the current draw but it doesnt! I have to put all my old bulbs back in to get it to flash with the turn signals but with even one led in it just stays on.

the hazards work. I didnt change the side marker lights yet but what the heck -- I thought this flasher would flash no mater what was in the sockets!!!

Ok, Did some more research and found that there are 2 flasher units -- one for turn signals and one for hazzards.

Problem should be fixed.

I had one more problem -- when I turned the parking lights or headlights on the side marker lights (still incandescant at this point) would cause the turn signal indicators in the dash to light.

this problem went away when I changed them all to LEDs
