Turn signal problem

When i signal left and turn, the blinker wont shut off (as in stop blinking or 'click' back to the off position) and when i signal right and turn, it has to be a pretty tight turn for it to 'click' into the off position..

Any ideas how i can fix this?

I hate it when i get up in the morning and head down the highway with my left blinker flashing like some old lady (i have a 13" grant steering wheel - the wheel makes it so i cant see the flashers blinking... or my speed for that matter... lol)

Does your wheel look a little like this?

The indexing of the Grant wheel is not the same as the factory wheel. You may have to alter the wheel hub or the cancelling cam for the turn signal to get everything "straight-up" once again. Mine did the same thing initially, before the "Grant Sugery".

If memory serves me (and that's always a crap-shoot) I had to hew a new keying slot in the I.D. of the Grant wheel hub and pop a new hole for the horn sounder ground brush/plastic sleeve.

I had relatives there, in a previous millenium. Still, as I recall, there should be a file and electric drill available somewere around there.
