weird SES question
i was driving to work, nothen special, doing prob 45 mph and in D (i have an auto). i shifted to OD, same speed, and prob 30 secs later, the SES light blinked 2 times really quickly (as in less then 1/2 sec) then thats it. didnt come on again. any reason y it would do this? i will check my codes in the morning.. even though its going 2 show my O2 sensor lean code as usual.

A code number will help. What type of fuel delivery system, exhaust etc would help. I put a ZZ-4 block in my 89 and I had a similiar problem under hard acceleration up to about a buck, when I backed down it would throw an intermittent O2 sensor code. The single wire sensor could not react fast enough to compensate for the high flow exhaust and different engine demand. Sometimes a heated O2 sensor will help. With a heavily modified engine some changes to the fuel delivery may be in order. Like the 'Busa and the trim package, I run a modified Super Hawk twin. *** Bless fast cars and sportbikes!

well its still FI, TPI 2 be exaact. but modified for a built 406 of course.
exhaust is 1 3/4 SLP shorites into a 3" single exhaust and flowmaster muffler.
as far as codes... what ever the o2 lean code is and knock sensor code (thats cause az gas = **** in the summer time)
