INFL REST light after new steering column
Is there any way to diagnose why the INFL REST light will not shut off? I just swapped out my steering column with another 90-92 column (which has proven to be a waste of time) and now the INFL REST light will not shut off.. I disconnected the battery, pulled the SIR fuse, disconnected the connector under the dash, then the connector at the airbag itself.. When I reinstalled I did the opposite.. reconnected at the airbag, reconnected under the dash, poped in the fuse, and then battery.. Started it and now the light will not shut off, blinks 7 times and stays on.. Any idea's?

It basically means that there is a trouble code stored in the computer that is associated with the SIR system that needs to be checked and cleared.
