temp sensor wiring
Hi, can you guys out there help me further? my ongoing saga with my Z28 continues, I have ascertained that the temp sensor going to the thermostat housing is not receiving any power. Because of this the car overheated and it failed its emissions. Is this item run off a relay anywhere? If not any usual point where the wiring fails.Help! id like to use the car before our wonderful British summer over???

With the key in the "ON" position and the CTS harness disconnected, you should have 5 volts there. If you don't, then you either have a short in the wiring or a bad ECM.
