Code 24 with autometer speedo and sender.

I have the covans cluster and autometer sender. I just pulled this code today, never gotten it before. The speedo seems jumpy. At idle its not in the zero area. It wont' go over 90 mph. Any ideas?

What does....

A code 24 should only be set while the vehicle is in motion. Disregard code 24 if set when drive wheels are not turning.
..mean?

Extraneous noise? If you have a scope, you can monitopr the VSS signal and see what's up.

I have the Covan's setup as well, but I had other problems and called Autometer customer support.
They were very helpful.
Contact info is on the Autometer website.

I might do that, because it is also throwing a code 14 (coolant temp sensor) but the guage works.
