what is this relay?
When taking apart the dash on my 91 GTA there is a relay mounted behind the dash on the passenger side behind the mapholder area. It had two three prong sockets on it, and it was not hooked up to anything. I found the two connectors that I think went to it since they fit, one of them has a green wire that runs through the passenger side kick panel area with the ECM trunk of wires. Now from reading through the archives I assumed this was the starter enable relay which would be part of the vats system. Is that correct? If so how could the car start and run without it? I did not see any jumpers anywhere obvious, if this relay is jumpered out somewhere in the harness which wires would be tied together? I want to ohm them out and see if they are tied together somewhere I cant see. TIA!

you may be right on it being the power antenna relay, I never though of that. For some reason I had it stuck in my head that it was the starter enable because of the green wire, but I think you may be right.
##edit..just checked the car, there are 3 wires actually running out the fender from the relay, green, white, and grey, all around 16G. Sound like the wires to the power antenna?

Yes that is the powered antenna relay. there are two connectors with a total of six wires. One has black, pink, and orange wires and the second one has the green, white, and gray wires you mentioned.
