How to properly power accessories?
I've never gotten an actual answer to this question, and its starting to get annoying:
When installing stuff that needs a +12v source, and you DONT wanna splice into other wires or shove the wires up into the fuse block, WHERE do you get the power? I'm thinking about running a fairly thick wire from the battery to a bolt inside the car (just gonna take a small bolt and put an O connector on the cable and put it on the bolt), and then just put O connectors on anything that needs a 12v source and just screw it onto the main "bolt"....sorta a distrobution block sorta deal......but that doesnt seem like the BEST way to do it. What should I do? With all these gauges and other stuff i'm wireing up, its starting to get REAL messy. Thanks

Hello Speedingpenquin,
In answer to your question in the event that your car doesn't have one of these handy little units. You can go to one of the earlier third gen camaro's or firebirds and get one. It is known as connector C238 and is located behind the left kick panel up above the hood release cable. Should solve a lot of your power source problems.
