Headlight Control Module

Does anyone have an updated part number for the headlight module? I have the old part numbers for a thirdgen but I think that the fourthgens and the 'Vettes are the same.

P/N 16514174
P/N 16505400

Neither of these numbers are still available from GM

I can help you out. The newer ones LOOK the same, but are different inside and not compatible.

Thanks Lon, so the only ones that are compatible are the thirdgens?

You can get them from several vehicles:

Chevrolet: Corvette (1984-96)
Buick: Skyhawk (1986-89)
Pontiac: Fiero (1987-88), Firebird (1987-92), Sunbird (1986-94)

do these modules work for all 3rd gens? i need one for my 90 and being in bo hunk is not helping due to lack of salvage yards. Thanks

Edit:
I think i might have answered my own question by rereading your answer. So all those cars modules are the same? COOL. Back to the 2 junk yards looking again.

ALso i got a part number from GM parts the other day----16525685. Parts guy gave me that number when we discovered that the PN on my current box is discontinued. Good luck.
