starter wiring

Wasnt sure where to post this...

say the wires...including the ground on the starter werent tightened down good (the nut not tightened on the stud)..what could it mess up besides starter engaging problems..

Could it cause the car to just shut down as if it had a bad battery connection when you go to start the car?(as soon as i turn the key back and turn it to where the fuel pump comes on..its fine..and its a brand new battery with good connections)

Could that ground not being on well cause other problems with other parts of the car?...such as fans not coming on?

In answer to all your questions....Yes the connections being loose will cause all the electrical problems that you have been having.
