Well I bought my distributer last year but didn't have the money to buy a box for it.

Well I have a 383 carbed motor with an MSD Billet Dist.

My queston is what should I look for in a Box?

Is an MSD 6A box good for an application like mine?

What do you guys think?

alll thats there is trash talk about msd stuff. they talk of going through multiple boxes....


which is why i am going with the uh.. crane hi6s thing it has the box + coil for our cars all in one package for like 179.

built in rev limtier too...

 

msd 6al is a good buy, on top of what the 6 a does you have a rev limiter to play with, and some other features too but i cant think of them off hand

 

Well not to say that there arent faulty products out there but of all the people i know they all run Msd stuff, especially the 6al, or mallory ignition. when i can afford it i myself am buying a 6al
