Vss selection

hey guys i swapped a t-5 into my 87 350 bird, and i need to figure out what part number etc of the vss for my bird, i know the ones from v6 t-5s will work but when i went to autozone they had 3 diff kinds, i assuming because of the diff mph speedos

i have a 140 mph speedo(electric)but the trans has a mechanical cable set up, i wanna switch it out to get my speedo to work probperly, and need to get the right plug to, i have the purple yellow etc wires hanging down,

thanks for any imput, lemme know if u need more info

as far as i can tel the only way that can happen is a custom mounted mech speedo, but remeber the vss also tell shte ecm certain things so basicly u need to have one to have ur engine run correctly

i spose i could buy one see if it fits if not then buy the next one in exchage for the one that doesnt fit
