every time i put in a fuse in main ignition in fuse box it blows out as soon as it makes contact. car wont start.lights out, radio outetc. while car is running lights,radio,etc go out but car still runs untill i shut off. if i put a fuse and turn key at same time it will start but blows fuse on contact. i have 2 jobs and dont have time to troubleshoot anymore. could you guys help?

 

Stupid question: Are you using the correct rating on the fuses?

 

yes 20a it blows on contact
