air bag and check engine light

my car 96 camaro was in an accident and the air bags blew....my question is........is there anyway to get the air bag light to go out and the check engine light to go out without taking the dash apart and disconnecting the bulbs.........i just pulled the fuse out of it and the air bag light is still on anyone else got any suggestions.....does anyone know how to take the dash apart to take the bulbs out let me know thanks

Try pulling the "SIRS" fuse at the fuse panel.
