Engine starts with hatch release switch...awesome??
Hi, First of all I've researched...
The thing is that when i press the hatch release switch, the engine starter turns on
(I wish i would've done it by myself)
I've checked the wiring diagrams and found illogical this would not happenbefore now because the ground goes trough the starter, so any of ya guys have had this kinda problem or any idea what is happening?? thanks in advance!!

Just follow the wiring from the hatch release button and I am sure you will find what the problem is

Kinda cool, and might be used as a theft prevention device.
But it sounds like someone was messing around with the wiring under the dash. The defroster switch uses a large purple wire to supply power back to the defroster grid; the starter circuit also uses a purple wire of the same size going out to the solenoid, from either the switch on the clutch pedal, or the switch on the side of the auto trans shifter, depending on which you have.

Oops, my bad.
I don't know why I was thinking of defroster when you only mentioned the hatch release
