We will be adding fog light pigtails on our site shortly, and like all our connectors, we like to use the same colors that GM did. I know 86 and earlier fog lights used a purple and black wire, and 89-92 used a black wire and a dark blue with white stripe. I don't know what year the change took place though, so I need find what colors were used in 87 and 88.

If any of you guys that have an 87 or 88 with factory wiring on your fog lights can take a look, I would very much appreciate it.

 

1988 was the year that the wires changed colors. 1987 was the last year to use the purple & black wires.

I'll go ahead and add them to the site shortly. I've been having alot of people asking for fog light pigtails, so we will be offering them now.

We are working on offering a complete front end fog light harness that will plug into the driver side firewall connector and integrates with the rest of the lighting harness. It will be a replica of the factory circuit.
