Headlight motor not working

I am having a problem with the drivers side headlight motor on my firebird. When I the car the drivers side motor was shot. I replaced it with a new one. And it still does not go up. I replaced the 2 headlight relays and checked all the wiring. Still nothing. None of the fuses are blown in the fuse block. What could be causing this.

Do the headlights come on when you turn on the switch? Also, can you hear the motors working and the lights just wont come up maybe the gears in the motor case are stripped out and there is an easy way to fix that (if you can hear them working). 3rd and 4th generation Firebirds are notorous for having headlight gear and motor problems.

The passenger side does work and i can hear that working. But I replaced the one that did not work at all with a brand new motor that I purchased at my local speed shop and still nothing. No sound is coming from it at all. Which probobly means that there is no power getting to the motor at all. So what could that be. Could is there more than 2 headlight relays or one that I could have missed.

Thanks
Jay

there are actually three relays, one on each side of the car near the headlights, and one beside the radiator on the passenger side as well.

Would could that be the cause of the problem that I am having?

First, I'd grab a test light and test the wires going to the motors and then test the relays.
