digital to regular

ok so i might be about to get a 85 berlinetta for my DD but the only thing wrong with it is it has a digital dash and it doesnt work. I have another 85 sc for parts and i was wondering how hard it would be to exchange the clusters? And the sc has a regular cluster (not digital) ANY HELP!!!!!!!!! PLEASE

The degree of difficulty to make this swap a reality will depend on if the donor car has the same engine as the Berlinetta. If both cars are MPFI V6 automatics that swap will be a lot easier than if one car has a MPFI engine with manual tranny and the other has a Carb V8 with an auto !

The whole Dash Housing must be swapped as well as the complete Center Console, Steering Column and Interior firewall Heater box. You would also have to pull the VSS sending unit out of the SC tranny and install it into the Berlinetta Tranny.

You can't just pull the cluster out of the Berlinetta and install a "normal" camaro cluster in it's place.

I've made this swap before and as long as you have a complete donor car to work with it's a pretty good project to undertake !
