what goes through the driver side firewall
what goes through the driver side firewall
hey I was just wondering, what are the wires that go into the drivers side firewall, I have been having problems with my car and we thought they were electrical, and the plastic by that is all melted, I'm sure thats the problem right there, but I was just curious, what do those wires control?
The big connector (collectively known as the bulkhead connector) is actually divided into two connectors, one about twice the size of the other.
The large connector powers the fusebox, and passes fused circuits into the engine compartment. It also has the ignition/starter relay circuit.
The smaller connector has the forward lighting circuits.

Is the harness for the same vehicle? Camaros have one more set of headlights than Firebirds. It may also have a fog-light circuit where yours doesn't.
The only way to be sure would be to post your car's year, and the year vehicle the harness came off of and I'll try to look at the schematics if I happen to have those years.

its a 90 camaro rs, no foglights. The painless wiring harness is for tbi vehicles not specific for a camaro, but it has everything I need for the fuel injection. I just didnt know what else I needed, also its wierd b/c the wiring harness comes with a different aldl.
