Various wires/plugs, can these be removed?

ITEM 1 This wire goes through the firewall and connects to this relay/device thingy shown in the picture. What does this do? Can it be removed?

ITEM 2, 3 and 4....There are all plugs that come out of the thick wire loom on the passenger side of the firewall...these plugs do absolutely nothing...can i cut the ends off and cap them with a wire nut?

ITEM 5 What does this do?...can it be safely removed?...can i remove the tubes and plug the ends?

ITEM 6 These 3 (yellow, blue and orage) wires appear to be the power supply for the heater box....does that seem right?...if not, what wires shown in the picture would supply power to the heater box?

Item 3 is for the map sensor and needed if you are still using the ecm.

Basically everything coming from the passenger side harness is items used by the puter. Most everything from the drivers sides are essentials, gauge wiring, main power, lights, wipers, etc.

When I have unused wires that I might use in the future I install them in
a connector. I then mount the receptacle on the firewall and plug it in.
This way I keep things neat in the engine compartment. </FONT>

2 and 5 are for emmisions. 6 looks like they were for the heater controls. If I'm not using a wire, ill cut it and put a piece of heatshrink over the end of it. But usally, i'll just remove the wire from its source.
