Do I HAVE to have a ground cable from Battery to Engine??
i relocated my battery to the truck and when i did i ran my power to a cutoff switch (along with the ECM power wire/alt lead) then to a distro block in the bay.
i ran a ground cable from the battery to the frame and up front in the bay i have a huge ground strap from the pass head to the frame.
is this okay or is it REQUIRED to have a ground cable directlly from the battery to the engine???

i run mine from the drivers side head to the drivers side motor mount and it works well setup like that.

so a cable directly from battery top motor isnt needed? that would be nice because 1/0 welding cable is expensive!!
i was just worried because i know the factory uses one and also has a ground strap to the firewall. ive also heard something about "the big three" which i thought was a ground from batt to frame, batt to motor, and motor to frame....

trust me mine is wired up that way. ground from engine to kmember, ground from firewall to pass head in rear, and 1/0 cable from battery in back to the spare tire well, drilled a hole and inserted a 3/8" bolt and aviation nut, no issues yet at all.
