Wiring alternator
I just did an engine swap and the alternator on my new engine is a 2 prong plug in but the wiring for the original alternator is a 3 prong plug. How do I wire my 2 prong alternator with the 3 prong wiring? Thanks

3 prong alt. plug to two prong plug.
sup man , i have an 88 camaro which had a serp. setup and i recently swapped to an 84 350 which has v-belt.
I took the biggest red wire with the single connector on it and put it on the back of the alternator where the stud is, and i took the next to largest red wire on the 2 prong plug where the red wire is there and didnt hook anything else up. It works just fine and im pulling atleast 14 volts at all times and havent had a problem. P.S. this is my first reply so please dont down me. I hope i was some help later man!
