removing non working cruise control and other misc stuff

hey, i have an 89 rs that came from the factory with a 2.8 not sure what kind of fuel injection it was but anyway, the guy that i bought it from swapped a carbbed 350 into it so needless to say i have all kinds of uneeded stuff under the hood i.e. different kind of connectors and what not. well i want to remove some of the not used wires to clean up the engine bay a little so i was just wondering if snipping some of the wires would make something go wrong considering that they arent hooked to anything. also i want to remove my cruise control that doesnt work. will it mess up anything to remove all the cruise control stuff. thanxs

The cruise control may not function because the computer was removed, thus destroying a ground. Check the following link:
