Wiring for different Gauge Cluster.

Hey guy's my gauge cluster is broke in my 84 Camaro sport coupe, right now the gauges are two big ones, the right one is speed and the left big one is gas. Three little ones in the middle that are oil pressure(temp?) engine temp and battery. These all just light up to show the amount and do not have a pin.

I was wondering if anyone knows the wires that need to be hooked up for me to get a gauge cluster with RPM instead of gas.

I need a wiring diagram or helps with all of this.

THanks

IIRC, you should be able to just change out the idiot light switches for gauge senders and swap the gauge cluster in.

Your engine right now has switches installed in it to turn the oil pressure and coolant temperature warning lights on. You'll need to replace them with an oil pressure sender and coolant temperature sender for the gauges.

I think the actual wiring in the car is the same though for gauges or lights. If you get a complete gauge cluster, you can unbolt your idiot light cluster and drop the gauge cluster right in without messing with any wiring.

Ok thanks I'll try and find a cluster soon whenever I get to the junkyard, I'm about to own a 1971 Mercedes 250 with only 40k miles on it.
