Headlight Question

My dad has an S-10, and every time he starts the truck, the headlights come on. All he does is switch between highs and lows. I REALLY like this feature, and wonder how I could incorporate this into my camaro.

I think I would have to have the lights turned on by the ignition...much like a radio, and the high/low switch on the steering column to switch betwen high beamsn and lows beams.

Suggestions?

Car: Only a daily driver, but comin home
Engine: I have one that runs ;)
Transmission: Caged hamster that runs really fast
Axle/Gears: They are round, I know that much
Best and easiest way is to buy a kit. Try Jegs, Summit, or JC Whitney for a day time running light kit. A lot easier this way, altho it make cost some more money, and it is MUCH safer to driver with your lights on even during the day, studies show other drivers are more aware of your vehicle when the lights are on.

If I get the day time running kit, then I don't need a headlight switch, correct? And I will still be able to switch betweenhighs and lows?
