Can anyone tell me where my turn signal flasher is?
I have an 89 Formula 350. When I use the left turn signal, the green arrow just stays lit up and doesnt flash. When i use the right signal it flashes just fine. Is this the flasher that needs replacement? I bought one and I cant even seem to find its location. It should be right by the fuse box. Right? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

turn signal flasher
i don't think its your turn signal flasher signal flasher but it could be, i would first check your light bulbs since it could also cause your turn signal not to flash and its the cheapest, also your turn signal flasher is going to be located to the right of your steering column under the dash

chances are your back bulbs (the ones for the turn signals) are burnt out. im quite confident your flasher is just fine.

Your flasher should be fine since it operates both sides. Indicator staying on is a symptom of a burned out bulb on that side (could be front or rear and I think a side marker can do it to).

When I replaced the flasher in my car(which fixed the signal problem) I coulda swore I noticed another flasher further back behind the radio and heater assembly. The one that I replaced was just a tad to the left of the heater and radio unit.

There is a flasher for the turn signals attached to the right side of the steering column and a flasher for the hazards located in the convenience center along with the audible alarm unit.

I've got a similar problem. I just bought an 84 TA with some serious electrical issues...owner before last rewired it and got rid of the ECM...some things went wrong, needless to say...
My left blinker works fine...but my right one is being goofy...when I turn it on the indicator inside the car doesn't light up. But outside the car the front and rear blinker stay on. So I know the bulbs are good. Could this be the flasher unit?
