Starter wiring wrong

I replaced engines in my car and I remembered there were three wires on the back of my passenger head grounded with a bolt, the terminals are the same size as the big starter terminals. At the moment on my starter, there are two wires on each post.. I dont know which wires go where now. When I attach the battery to my car it engages the starter. Can anyone help me out with this? It would get my engine running

I disconnected all the wires to the starter except for the ones coming from the +battery terminal, I goto attach the battery and the car starts cranking over. There was a set of wires, similar to the ones coming from the battery, they had a metal tube surrounding part of them and they were really greasy. What wires are those?

Those are the wires im confused about, I followed them back and they lead into a big T shaped bunch of wires.

Thats the heatshield that was originally on the wires.

I was looking at pictures of my old engine and I dont see those wires anywhere, but I dont have EVERY angle, I have some pictures of my engine removal but I still dont see them either.

Im at a total loss, The wires on the starter arent touching, im 100% positive. Once this problem gets resolved, my car will be running and then I can expierence summer the way its meant to be.
