The bodyshop which I had the car painted at messed about with 2 connectors where a relay(I think) ought to connect.

When the car was returned to me, it would not start. 1 relay was laying on the floor, with 2 possible connectors dangling above it.

1 of the connectors seemed to be for VATS, as the car started correctly after the aforementioned relay was plugged into it.

Would anyone tell me what this connector is for? The car doesn't seem to have any issues running, but I'd like to know.

*Edit - it's a '92 camaro and the line colours are brown, yellow, green and blue.

If that "brown" wire were actually purple, I'd guess it was the fog light relay socket. Which wire(s) has power with the ignition off/on, lights off/on?

I wanted to thank you for pointing me in the right direction! After going over fog light wiring diagrams, a 1991 camaro diagram indicated that Chevy (in what year, I'm not sure) switched that purple wire to a brown one.

 

Vader - are all camaros wired on the interior for fog lights? I know my engine bay didn't have it, but could I expect to find it under my dash?
