anyone ever add a second fuse block?
Im looking to do some wiring upgrades in my car along with simplifying some of it as well. Im thinkng that maybe a second fuse block will help with some of my added cicuits. Has anyone ever added one and wired it to only get hot with the key in start or run? I dont want it hot all the time. Right now I have 2 wires plugged into those spare IGN terminals and I plan on adding 6 relays to my car and tappng into the fise block for their switched 12 volt source. I just dont want a dozen wires coming out of the fuse block. It looks sloppy. My fuel pump, both fans, headlights(low and high), amp turn on relay, and electric water pump will all be rewired on there independent cicruit and relay. This will also clean up some of the wirng under the hood. I am already running a stand alone engine harness. Id also want to upgrade the undersized wire GM put in these cars. Im just looking for suggestions and advice on what I need to do here to rewire some of my car. what works and what dont.

I haven't added a new fuse block, but I am tagging on a new circuit that is hot with ignition by tagging onto the existing fuse. Napa sells it as Item#: BK 7822002.

I'm with Bottled, I need a second block. My current thoughts are to relay the new block, and then find an ign. wire to trip the relay.
I'm curious where others have mounted it. Near the other one is where I'm thinkin.

CRUSIN FOR A FUSEN
If you’re doing this it’s a good time to
add a terminal strip to the circuit with status LEDS.
For example green can indicate the fuse is good
red can indicate the fuse is bad.
