Check engine light.

Is there a simple way to turn this light off so I can pass an emmissions test? It's been on for about 5 years. It actually comes on and off as I drive.

Actually depending on what state you are in if the check engine light does'nt come on with key on - engine off, they won't test the car and may even fail you. Better to pull the codes and find out why it's on.

Good idea. It's Maryland so they probably do check to make sure it comes on. Thanks!
