Timing is jumping *6 to like *10 BTC?
Yeah before I couldnt even getting going, The pickup coil was bad, and the condensor, module was good. I replaced them, and tried timing it. I marked it all up and just to make sure I placed it at TDC Compression number one.
I timed it with that wire disconnected tan, and set it to *6. then I also noticed it jumping to *10 after like 6 seconds. I checked the wires, one was seared--replaced it. I practically replace a lot, during this dark ages of Lennet.
It all started when It seemed like I ran out of gas, it died, It started back up in neutral and drove to a gas station, I got the good gas, and noticed a messed up hestitation. That night I got ripped off for my tape deck, they even took Alice Cooper. They tried jacking it, but didnt, I had to fiberglass new tabs for the computer compartnent, you know the under dash plastic piece where you screw it in.anyways, I replaced the following since then.
-idle air control valve
-tps .552v
-o2 sensor
-egr solenoid
-coolant tempture sensor and wire western union solder with heat shrink.
-cap and rotor
-wires, spark plugs
-ignition control module
-maf
-pickup coil
-knock sensor
-radio condesor,
-radiator
-alternator
-fuel filter
-fuel pump last July 2005
-throttle body
-ecm
-no trouble codes
-v-belts
-tranny fuild filter
-oil job change
-rear diff flush
-all injectors checked out the same
i think thats it.
--------------------
I think maybe it could be a vacuum leak, or the timing chain, a egr valve, or maybe a hole in the diaphram fuel regulator. cansaster fuel EFE. Idle air control. check valve?
-ANy suggestions, ?

Im going to replace the knock sensor again, but this time torque it to 11lbs. also im going to replace the harmonic balancer and the timing chain_and sprokets. but yeah it should work, makes sense. When I got the car going after plugging the EGR soldenoids line. I was so happy i was doing burn outs and drifting. But The TV cable wasnt adjusted right, and the RPMs stayed high, and it was black Ice night. I lost control and hit the curb hard on the front right wheel. I broke the bead seal. when I started it back up, thats when it gave me crap, like a retard on the timing, the same thing as a MAF sensor malfunction. But I guessing when I replaced the Knock sensor before that whole inciddent, i think maybe it was torqued way too much. thanks all
