Sending unit wiring
I have changed my dash to a trans am dash into a camaro it is a 87 trans am dash into a 89 iroc I was wandering everything is working and lights up but on the gauges the fuel level shoots to full I just need help Identifiyng the single wire that runs to the fuel level gauge from the tank on a 87 trans am and a 89 iroc so I can splice them together thanks team

Fuel sender wiring
Hi,the wire colour for the fuel gauge sender on the camaro is pink.I dont know what it is on the transam though.

you can look on the back of the trans am guages(the circuit board) and figure it out. There are 3 connections for the gauge. Two of those are power and ground and they will go to other gauges. Follow the third one and trace it to the dash connector. Might be able to do the same for the camaro gauges.
