Weird blinker annoyance

Well,,, my left turn signal indicator (on the dash) stays lit when my lights are on. It doesnt really affect my signaling but its really annoying! Oh yeah, and I just noticed that my front left flasher doesnt work either. I changed the bulb too. Has anyone experienced this problem?

It sounds to me that you have a bad socket in the front.I have seen the ground tab break in these sockets and cause exactly what you described.I hope this will help.

The socket in the front flasher lamp where you just exchanged the bulb, of course...
Always when you replace a bulb, you inspect the socket in the lamp.. The bulb may not even be broken, it could just be an oxide layer, make sure all contact points are shiny.
Most flasher relays are made so that it stays on if one of the bulbs are out. The indicator staying on (in the dash) is an indication of this fault condition. So I presume it did affect your signalling, or did it actually flash outside while staying on inside..?

Yes, now that I looked at it..... It did affect my signaling. The blinkers on the dash worked properly but the signal lense was not flashing. I just went and inspected the socket and it appears to be missing the little metal tab that should be attached to the contact. So I am gonna go to autozone and buy a new socket. But Im really not sure on how to remove the socket. Its connected by 3 wires that feed into 2 small rubber boots. Do I have to cut the wires or should they just pop out with the whole boot assemblys?

The new socket should have the wires connected already, all you have to do is match them up.{The new wires are probably the same color so make sure you match them up to the old socket.}I would suggest soldering and using a heat shrink that seals so there is no water intrusion.

Well I installed both of the new sockets, but now my right front signal doesnt work. I am thinkin that the side signal that never worked is throwing off the front signal. I tried to remove the lense but I felt like I was gonna break it. Is there any particular way to remove the yellow side lense?
