Electronics Need help wiring something up? Thinking of adding an electrical component to your car? Need help troubleshooting that wiring glitch?

High beam switch... Mine has no rod to actuate it. What can i do?

High beam switch... Mine has no rod to actuate it. What can i do?

So i know there is the white switch in the left side of the steering column that actuates the hi beams but there is no rod to push it... this is my second steering column like this what should i do? i dont want a floor actuated one and i just bought this steering column it was the only good one in town lol. thanks guys!

you could just run a pull cable up to the front dash a lil fabrication but its cheaper and easier than a new column

What year is it? I might be able to call my local Chevy parts guy and get the pn. He has taken care of me on all my Camaro and TransAm parts.

wire in a toggle switch for the hi/low beams. mount it somehere out of sight and no one has to know

lol sounds good im thinking of just buying a rod from the junk yars or making on and seeing if i can fish it up the steering column who knows if not its like 35 for a new column again
