Controlling the Torque Converter lock up?

I'm installing a holley commander 950 standalone engine management in a 87 Iroc. How do I get the torque converter lockup to function properly with out the use of the factory ecm?? Can I keep the factory ecm partially connected to control the lockup function or will it not work properly?

I even have one I was using with my C950. It works pretty good. I may be willing to sell it.
