I did a search and gathered some info but it raised another question. My alternator quit charging. It was brand new (reman). No power coming out of it, all wires good, ground good. I read that if the fan fuse is blown it wont charge, we'll it was blown, but I'm not using the ecm anymore and am using a thermal fan switch to operate the fan. So fixing the fuse isnt going to fix my problem is it? I also read something about taking the red wire from the clip off the alternator and running it to the power post. Whats this about?
