Hey guys. I'm back. Seems I only stay active on here when I'm having car troubles, but I guess that's how it goes.

I need some serious help this time. One day, I got out of my car and hit the lock button,which never worked too well in the first place, had to press it twelve times or so, so it wasn't a big surprise. I thought, damn, the locks finally gave out. After the sun set, I opened the door and noticed my dome light stopped working, and I figured I had a problem. Then in a few days I notiched the hatch wouldn't open. Then in a week I found out my cigarette lighter didn't work!

Clearly an electrical problem. Now, I'm not that tech savvy, and the only person I can ask for help is my mother. We pulled out all the fuses, all of them looked good, to her eye, which Im guessing isn't great. Does anyone know if I should be looking elsewhere, or if I missed the fuse?

Door Locks, Rear Hatch, Cigarette Lighters, Dome Light. All non functional.

See if those wires go to a common fuse block or terminal. That might lead you to the source of the problem. Also, keep an eye out for loose ground terminals around the place.
Maybe that'll help?

 

Rather than removing fuses and eyeballing, check them with a test light. Ground one end of test light (Good bare metal on car) and touch probe to one side of fuse (turn ignition to on position) light will go on, touch probe to other fuse terminal. If light goes on on both sides of fuse-fuse is good. Diagram below says to check 20 amp Accessory fuse.
