starting/ parasitic draw issues
ok its not a camaro its my
78 chevy k20 4wd 350
not much electronics or wiring to the truck no radio installed,
it has a parasitic draw and will kill a battery in a day and a half so i leave the positive disconnected
so after a week or so of sitting and i need to use it i connect the battery back up and it wont turn acts like the battery is dead so i put a load tester on the battery and its 100% charged. so i try to jump the terminals on the starter and didnt even click just sparked. so just for trial and error sake i changed the battery and it fired right up.
now the part is the terminals are new, and there is no corrosion. the ground from the battery hooks up to the altenator bracket and was tight.
i have no clue where to start. for the draw or starting system.
to make it 3rdgen related i need it working to tow my thirdgens
