horn button

can some one tell me how the horn button works, does it use a ground ? ive looked at the diegram.

There is 1 wire coming up through the steering column If that wire touches ground the horn should go off. If it doesn't then you have a problem. The Horn button on the IROCS and probable the RSs also keeps this wire from ground with a spring loaded mechanism until pushed grounding and causing the horn to blow.

The button on my car was broken when I got the car but by drilling the plastic standoffs and tapping threads I was able to repair mine.
