Axle/Gears: 2.42 too high
you can test it by checking its resistance with an ohm meter, specs are 500~1500 ohms. you do have to unplug it from the module to test it.
if it checks good but the plastic connector is bad, it will still work but if the wires are hooked up to the module backwards it can cause some strange problems, anything from a no start to an intermittent misfire or poor performance.

Axle/Gears: 3.73 open
You should also test each lead for a short to the dizzy's base. There should be infinite resistence between each lead the the base of the distributor.
